Do you ever look at the history of your Google search bar and think "What the fuck??" Here are some of my recent searches:
* methadone clinic
* hard boiled eggs
* paul newman
* frozen earth
* average number of calories per day
* wintergrass festival, tacoma
* stevie wonder
Looking at a list like that I think 'what was i doing that i had time to search for hard boiled eggs and stevie wonder?' But there it is.
Oh, so I got my computer back!
That is why I'm updating after about a year of not updating. Mostly I'm doing this because of you, Emily (if you're reading this) because I love reading your entries and realize i used to post a lot more frequently. I miss you! I will probably be doing a lot more posting soon because I start school on Monday. I am nervous and happy to be doing something other than working. I hate working. I hate the Gap. May it burn in hell. Okay, that is strong, but seriously, that place has sucked the life out me. Anyway, once i start school there will be papers to put off, so i'm sure i will spend a lot of time here and on facebook again, as a proper student should. I should actually be studying right now because i have an Arabic placement exam coming up on Tuesday. It's kind of a formality, but I'm still really nervous that I've forgotten everything and will mess it up. I also need to buy A LOT of things to get school started. I need a desk for my room (everything is STILL in boxes), supplies like pencils and pens and notebooks, textbooks and a school bag. (I refuse to buy a backpack). I should also get some sensible shoes for the rain and all the walking i will be doing, but let's face it, that probably won't happen. Oh, for those of you who don't know, my sister and I moved into a new apartment in downtown Seattle. We moved in in November and it's been pretty nice. It's a good size, so we're not in each other's way and it's fun to live with Brita because we get along most of the time. You should all come and see it sometime! (if you haven't already done so). Anyway, I will try to update soon, I am going to try and get some work done.
Happy New Year, everyone! May 2008 be infinitely better than 2007. Infinitely.
I also hope that 2008 will be infinitely better than 2007. And I think you're on the right path. Good luck with your placement exam. Don't do too well!
P.S. I'm still debating taking Arabic next quarter and I might be in your class (theoretically).
